The Ferrari is one of the most recognized cars in the world.
That is why even in the RC world it is a flagship car brand to be licensed for
production. Mini-Z 1/27th scale micro racing has been around since 1999
enjoyed by many fans around the world. Although RC sports are an exciting
hobby, there tends to be slow downs by consumers that lead many companies to
suffer. Just like X-Mods by Radio Shack that is no longer in production Mini-Z
also faced a slowdown in the market for their product. Luckily Kyosho is a
major player when it comes to remote control cars. Kyosho did the right thing
when they decided to release a revamped MR03 chassis boasting the first micro
VE power brushless motor to hit their micro sport. Nonetheless what was chosen to accompany this
new kit was the Ferrari 458 GT2. Talk about knowing how to inject enthusiasm
back into the product. This decision
caused mass anticipation with many experienced and new hobbyist. This late December 2012 release did not
disappoint! It is accurately detailed and painted.
